Speaker Bio: 

Robert aspires to be a catalyst for the cause of worldwide discipleship. He has been a major gifts officer for 20 years with International Cooperating Ministries (www.ICM.org), a ministry that provides church buildings and Bible study materials for under resourced nations.

During the in between spaces of his life, he mentors. He founded Great with God Ministries 11 years ago, whose mission is to equip Christian Mentors, through publishing, live events, and apprenticed based workshops. He is a family man who has been married for over three decades to his high school sweetheart, Sherrie.

He is a man who has been shaped by his Mentors and has his own story as to how God nudged him from being the mentee towards becoming the Mentor. He has personally mentored over 50 people in the last 15 years.  He markets the 222-bumper sticker as a means of raising awareness to “pay it” forward. Particularly to pay the good you’ve received to another.   And today he will be illustrating his talk through the medium of Sketch Board Chalk Art.

Robert has also written several books, including The Parable of the Ironman and the Great with God Disciples Training Guide.  He is also an Ironman competitor and finisher. Today, he enjoys the sport of Triathlon with his adult sons.

Robert comes to share how it is that having a mentor is the leading indicator that predict your destiny.
